Materials

2 eyes, Colored papers cut into small pieces, 8 colored pipe cleaners

Cardboard (an old cereal box), Glue, Scissors,Pencil,Paper hole punch,Felt pen

Method:

1.     Draw out a large wavy shape with your pencil onto the card board; it needs to be as wide as your hand so it is easy to fill with colored papers.

2.    Cut out the caterpillar shape.

3.    Start your collage with colored papers (magazine pages or newspaper can be used).

4.    Punch 6 holes at the bottom of the caterpillar and push the pipe cleaner into the hole bend it in half and then give a little twist at the top near each hole. (so the legs do not fall out)

5.    Glue on the eyes.

6.    Make 2 holes on the head for the antennas, push the last 2 pipe cleaners through the holes about ¾ of the way in and twist the shorter part around the long part

7.    Draw on a mouth and nose.

Materials:

1 large Styrofoam ball (for body)
1 small polystyrene ball (for head)
8 pipe cleaners for legs
2 eyes
Glue (foam board adhesive)
Paint

Method:

1.Glue the small ball to the large one and leave to dry over night.

2.Paint the body of the spider in your chosen color and leave to dry.

3.Make 8 holes for the legs and place a small amount of glue in each and push pipe cleaner into the hole

4. Glue the eyes to the head and leave to dry
